His Angels Three

His angels three
Were there when we
Cried out to Him the loudest.
Oh, Lord, our God,
Our mighty God,
This has to be the hardest.

How can we go
When all we know
Is Erin...she is dying.
Our precious one,
So full of fun,
Now cannot smile, for crying.

His angels three
Were there when we
Asked, "Lord, please tell us why
This must be so."
It hurts, you know.
Our Erin just can't die.

That night she prayed,
As still she laid,
"Lord, take away my cancer.
The pain's too great.
Please, Lord, don't wait.
Act quickly with your answer."

His angels three
Were there when we
Received the news that day.
The tests had shown
Her cancer gone.
Why...the doctors could not say.

But we know why.
Our God stood by.
A miracle He did speak.
Erin's faith so strong.
God's face she longed.
For it was life she did seek.

His angels three,
Who might they be?
Which special ones were chosen?
To guard our child,
And keep her smile,
Till when we all are risen.
