Dear Faithful Prayer Warriors,
I have asked the Lord to give me the words to write because, at this very moment, I am at a loss for words.
I finally got to speak to the doctor today. The tumors in Erin's left lung and chest are larger than
he originally thought. She has 5-6 tumors, the two largest ones being around 3". One of them is in her chest,
over her heart. She also has fluid in her left lung.
None of the treatment options available for Erin will save her life. They will only slow the growth of
the tumors, but at a price. She would be very sick. With MUCH prayer and Erin's input, we have decided to put
this in GOD'S hands. This coincides with the doctor's recommendation that "doing nothing is the best option" for Erin.
Only we aren't going to "do nothing..." WE ARE GOING TO PRAY FOR A MIRACLE!!!
The doctor expects Erin's time to be very limited,
so now is the time to PRAY THE IMPOSSIBLE!
James 1:2-3
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know
that the testing of your faith develops perseverance."
Because we are told to consider it pure joy when we face trials, and because we are instructed to give thanks
in everything, we would like to share with you what we are thankful for.
- God has blessed us with an extremely loving and supportive family. We have the most wonderful daughters
in the world!
- God has blessed us with an amazing church family who would do anything for us. Adams Farm Community Church
truly loves us with brotherly love.
- God has blessed us with an army of Prayer Warriors who lift us up with their encouraging words, prayers and
support.
- God has blessed us by providing the means for us to send our children to a Christian school. The High Point
Christian Academy family has done abundantly more for us than we ever expected.
- God has blessed us with many angels, some we can see, some we can't.
- God has blessed Erin with the biggest smile you will ever see.
- God has blessed us with hope.
- God has blessed us with strength.
- God has blessed us with the promise of eternal life in a beautiful place called Heaven.
